TVR/GWR 10T Covered Goods Van
These 10T vans were built in the 1890's by the Gloucester Carriage and Wagon company. They only ever had a pair of brake shoes on one side although they did have handbrake levers on both sides. The last revenue service vans were withdrawn by the GWR although it is believed that some vehicles that had been sold to private companies survived longer.
When built they were fitted with 3ft 1in, 8 split spoke wheels although these may have been replaced by 8 plain spoke wheels of the same diameter at a later date.
The kit consists of an etched brass body and rigid chassis with whitemetal detailing parts and sprung buffers. A pre-formed brass roof is supplied.
Wheels and couplings are needed to complete the kit.
