Fourtrack Castings

This section of the catalogue shows the castings that we use in our range of locomotive and rolling stock kits. Most of these are from our own moulds and we are able to make them available individually. Those that we buy in we are only able to sell in our kits and these, whilst appearing in the pictorial section, do not have a price against them in the price list. In order to display the castings relatively neatly we have had to reproduce them in varying scales so we have put a guide scale beside each image to provide an indication of their relative size.

In the description of the castings we have included an indication as to which kit or kits they are used in. In many cases this isn't the only vehicle that the item is appropriate for, it may be suitable for many others.

All our locomotive buffers have a turned brass body with a turned steel head. They are internally sprung using our own coil springs which are also available separately in packs of 12.

Most of our rolling stock buffers have a cast whitemetal body with a turned steel head. They are internally sprung using our own coil springs which are also available separately in packs of 10.

Castings with a prefix ACF of WF are in whitemeal.
Castings with a prefix FT or LR are in brass.
