Driving wheels. There are four sizes of driving wheel.

code 7858M This size would be within recognised tolerances, as wheels were regularly turned down by as much as three inches before tyres were replaced.

5’3" - 16 spoke code 7863 the crankpin though is in line with rather than between the spokes.

5’6" - 16 spoke code 7866SE the crankpin though is in line with rather than between the spokes.

5’8" - 18 spoke code 7868GW .
